It may seem like a lot of extra weight, but they will come in handy more times than you think! Consider investing in a light, camping flashlight if you can. It will really cut down on what you have to carry, and they are\u00a0extremely\u00a0durable pieces of equipment.<\/p>\n<p>Most importantly, remember to put new batteries in your flashlight when you&#8217;re packing for Philmont.
