Cup
Philmont says everyone needs a cup. This is FALSE! There is only one use for a cup on the trail, and no it is not for measuring. If you follow the instructions, you will be eating soup every night. Separate cups are for coffee and warm beverages. Most scouts do not drink cider or hot chocolate while they are eating dinner. For this reason, they can save some space and not take a cup. Before or after eating, scouts can use their bowl to mix hot coco or cider. Advisers who plan on participating in Adviser Coffee at Staffed Camps need to bring their own cups with them.
