2. Build Your Crew

If you do not already have enough interest to fill your crews, you will need to spark curiosity within your unit. To help you out we have put together a generic presentation for you.

You will want to keep this presentation short, no more than 20 to 30 minutes.

If you’ve hiked the mountains of Philmont then you know that the most difficult part of Philmont is not hiking in the back country, it is trying to explain the magic to someone else. If you find yourself here, we recommend showing the first 20 minutes or so of the The Philmont Documentary Collection DVD. It will do a great job explaining what Philmont is.

Once you find out who is interested in going we will need to Organize your Crews.
