Fishing Gear

While on the trail at Philmont there will be a couple of opportunities for fishing. There are great spots along the Rayado River and the South Ponil Creek, as well as the Cimarron River. Finding time on the trail is going to be a challenge. If you do intend on fishing at Philmont, you must have a fishing license. These can be purchased from the Tooth of Time Traders in Base Camp or at Fish Camp where it is their program.
