Postcards

It’s always fun to send post cards to family, friends, and girlfriends from on the trail at Philmont. Chances are you will beat the mail home. Even though it is a slow way to communicate in the information age, it is still fun to do. If you are thinking about doing this, bring a couple of dollars to buy some post cards and stamps from the Tooth of Time Traders. Most every staffed camp can send mail from it. Keep your post cards and stamps inside of a waterproof zip lock baggie or they will likely get wet and become paper pulp.
